When installing a New Process NP203 or NP205 transfer case to certain modern transmissions, the factory input retainer will bottom out inside the tail housing before the mating surfaces contact.
Our 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum Input Retainer keeps the Seal in the Factory Location while reducing the amount of material sticking out from the front of the transfer case, while still keeping proper piloting and bearing retention.
The Most Common Use is when installing a Ford NP205 with our 23 Spline NP205 Short Input Shaft to a Tremec TR-4050.
Included in the kit is:
1x 6061-T6 Billet Input Retainer
1x Input Retainer Gasket
1x Input Seal
4x 5/16" NC x 3/4" Low Profile Socket Head Cap Screws
