Avoid Bottoming Out When Installing a NP203/NP205!
When adapting a New Process NP203 or NP205 transfer case to certain modern transmissions, the factory input retainer can bottom out in the tail housing before the mounting faces make contact.
Our 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum Input Retainer solves this by:

Keeping the seal in the factory location

Reducing excess material from the front of the transfer case

Maintaining proper piloting and bearing retention
Most commonly used when installing a Ford NP205 (with our 23-spline short input shaft) to a Tremec TR-4050.
